Szabadság Grand Café, established in 1902, was one of the most desired café palaces of Endre Ady, the world famous Hungarian poet. 117 years is a long time in the hospitality business - one could even say it's history - therefore it comes with great responsibility. While developing the concept of Szabadság, our goal was to create a place that resembles the old time's civic lifestyle in its spaces, ambience, gestures and pace, while adapting the convenience and tastes of today. This is Szabadság Bisztró, which welcomes both old and new guests since April 2019.
Offline meeting point filled with culture and inspirational vibes, a creative, stress-free space, an oasis which is both children- and dogfriendly, a hotspot. All this a few minutes' walk from the Parialment, in a historical building, where coffee has been brewed since 1902.
